Robinson Goss ltd. is an independent self drive hire (rental) company situated in the Cotswolds, the heart of rural England. We buy new vehicles and keep them for around three years. We try to give you excellent value for money by offering all inclusive prices where possible. We endeavor to answer queries on the net, but we are not an 'internet trading' company. For the quickest response or to place a booking please telephone us with your payment card details! All prices given are for periods of 24hours starting from and returning by 08:30hrs. Insurance- Qualifying Drivers
To use our insurance drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 69, have held a full UK driving licence for 2 years, and must produce their driving licence in person when collecting the vehicle. Non UK licence holders must provide their own insurance, and/ or accept a £1000 excess (deductable) which may be covered by Amex and other USA cards (check with your card issuer!)
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
For UK licence holders insurance is included in our prices with a £350 excess. Qualifying drivers may reduce this to £25 by paying an optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) . CDW is only available to UK licence holders, 25-69 years old with a clean licence!
CDW rates for cars up to 7 seats £7 per day, £35 per week
CDW rates for other vehicles £12 per day, £50 per week on all other vehicles.
Insurance - Exclusions
We cannot insure some drivers on our insurance. These include younger or older or inexperienced drivers, disqualified drivers, drivers with too many points on their licence, and some foreign licence holders. Please contact us before you book if you're not sure.
We cannot insure some vehicles on our insurance. These include vehicles over 3.5 tons and tow vehicles or trailers.
The following items cannot be insured, and hirers are responsible for full costs incurred; damage above cab height, tyre and wheel damage, glass damage, interior damage (seats, roof etc), damage caused by abuse or by negligence - i.e. using the wrong fuel type.
